The program will prepare students to work in fast-paced surgical environments as entry-level surgical technologists. Through classroom instruction, hands-on labs, and clinical experience, students will learn the principles of asepsis, the practice of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation and patient care techniques within the operating room environment.

The surgical tech program is a 61-credit program which is completed over six (6) quarters. It follows the 黑料网 schedule which includes summer, winter, and spring breaks. The program begins with the Fall term and concludes each Spring term, Graduation is held annually, in June.
